• To update a NAVIGON GPS device such as the NAVIGON 2100, you must register your device with the NAVIGON website. Once you've registered, you can download and install the NAVIGON Fresh application, which you can use to download map and system software updates for your NAVIGON 2100 unit. • UPDATED 20080204 BY GPSPASSION: Navigon have just made available an Update Release 1.1 (v6.5.2?) for the 2100, 5100 and 7100 AIOs. It has a size of about 25MB. More details starting on page 4 of this topic. How to download: the update is available through the MyNAVIGON section of the NAVIGON US website. Select the My Products section and click.

I have the Navigon 2100. It has been pretty good so far. The latest (April 08) update is version 1.2. I had no problem with this. First remove the SD card from the unit and copy the whole thing into a separate folder on your PC. Download and run the software update. I installed it on my PC and just simply copied it onto the SD card. The downloadable Update 1.1 contains the software and maps. You will have to recreate your Favorites and Home location. Update The update only contains the software. I forgot how I got the Navigon software on a second SD card. I used Navigon Fresh to backup the SD card to my computer. I restored it to a second card.
