Everything thing goes bad after a gummy bear lamp Spencer made catches Carly's room on fire. Spencer then finds out that his relative's watch that Carly had was destroyed and was worth $82,000. Spencer convinces Carly to get a part-time job at the Groovy Smoothie while he, Freddie, Sam, and a working crew put together an amazing new room to Carly's surprise.

Later in the episode, Sam splits the kids up and kids with last names from N-Z go to Carly and other kids stay with Sam. Carly and Freddie's kids think that it's all about breaks and having fun, and when they only make 6 tees in 1 day, Carly and Freddie stop the business. In the end, they try to give the kids a second chance but turns out they already started their own Penny Tee business and hired writers their age. Meanwhile in the episode, Spencer dates a girl from a foreign country.

Carly and Sam convince Gordon the only way to make Jodi realize she loves him is to sing his song to her. But he can't and Carly sings the song instead.

iStart A Fan War
Carly, Sam, and Freddie accidentally start a fan war while hosting a panel session at Webicon (iPyscho). The fans are divided between who should end up together, Carly and Freddie (Creddie) or Sam and Freddie (Sedie). Meanwhile, Spencer faces his online gaming nemesis Aspartamay in a face-to-face battle. When Carly visits the battle, she steals Aspartamay's jewel, which turns out to be his life force. He then sings a song before his 'death', while falling to the ground. The crowd around him seems to not care and leaves. Also meanwhile, Gibby and Guppy's grandfather tries to obtain soup from a fast food restaurant. Later, at the very end of the episode, they show up at Webicon, after everything has ended, when his grandfather thought there was soup there, but it turns out Gibby lied.

iHire an Idiot
Exhausted by the work needed to run iCarly, the cast holds auditions for a new intern at Spencer's suggestion. Carly and Sam immediately choose a 'good looking guy' named Cort, only because he is attractive (Cort himself is an idiot).To get back at them, Freddie hires another 'good looking' intern named Ashley (who is also an idiot), making him 'even' with Carly and Sam. Meanwhile, Spencer tries to sneak his Bottle Bot into an art museum to prevent his grandpa from making him go back to law school, but is caught by the curator and the security guard and is kicked out. After that, he uses Gibby to distract the guard while he brings the bot inside, and convinces his grandpa to not make him go back to law school. But is again caught by the curator who he distracts by kissing her. Then she asks him to do it again. In the end, Cort and Ashley both get fired. It turns out that Ashley is very smart and was acting and that Freddie tricked Carly and Sam.

Freddie begins to believe Sam has fallen in love with Brad when they test a 'PearPad' app on Sam that detects the mood of someone, and the result is 'in love'. Freddie claims the results were inconclusive and leaves to talk to Carly. Carly is convinced that Sam is in love with Brad, and attempts to pair them up, but Sam insists that she has not fallen in love with Brad. Later, Sam and Freddie have a serious conversation about love and feelings. Amidst the chat, Sam kisses Freddie without warning, while Carly looks on with a shocked expression. In the subplot Carly and Gibby use Spencer as a test subject for their science project, which consists of tests to his reactions to different forms of torture.
